An IT/Telecoms company, based in Germiston is looking for an IT Support Engineer (2 nd Line Support) tol manage and support tickets as assigned. (Remote Support) Deal with all IT Tickets assigned To deal with IT Support tickets and enquiries to resolution within SLA Ensure SLA's of tickets assigned and adhered to or bettered Checking of logs/monitoring for any possible issues and suggest preventative maintenance if needed Monitoring of backups and assist with disaster recovery scenarios Keeping client site documentation up to date including hardware and software audits Desktop/Printer/Network support (remote/onsite) Office 365 maintenance and support Deal with Escalations for IT 2 nd line issues including: Laptop support using Dato RMM Enrolling users into MFA Ensuring Dato is installed on additional devices (using LogMeinRescue to setup) Printer Mapping Use of local admin passwords to install Microsoft software on user devices SharePoint and Teams site mapping and administration Removing erroneous software from devices including MCafee Antivirus Use of local admin password to install software on user devices Adding a O365 for a product or service Removing a O365 license for a product or service To Setup of new Office 365 users and new IT Hardware (remote set up) O365 tenant creation and maintenance (user/license clean ups) Assigning Devices to users using Intune PC and laptop build and configuration using AutoPilot Setup To deal with Support Tickets related to VoIP & Hosted Telephony Deal with all VoIP and Hosted tickets assigned Checking of logs/monitoring for any possible issues and suggest preventative maintenance if needed Monitoring of backups and assist in disaster recovery scenarios Keeping clients site documentation up to date including hardware /software audits Remote support for telephony services including data and voice services Project Onboarding Site surveys for installations, IT Infrastructure / Hosted Voice Completing documentation templates of existing site infrastructure On-Site Delivery : Software Rollouts Onsite assistance and support with migrations Infrastructure and cabling clean-ups Manual patching and security update rollouts Hosted voice (VoIP) deployments from configuration platform to onsite deployment of handsets Installing PC's and laptops on customer sites Installing and configuring of any IT equipment e.g. Firewall, switches, routers, video equipment etc. Equipment experience – Cisco, Mikrotik, Juniper End user training Microsoft 365 Create new users Obtain licences & manage billing Undeliverable email issues License users Create shared mailboxes Provide access to share mailboxes Convert Shared Mailboxes to User mailboxes Manage MFA Create and manage exchange rules Onedrive support Sharepoint Support Outlook Support Distribution list management TEAMS Admin Centre Creating Teams and Channel Creating and managing Teams access policies Teams rooms and device Management Manage Teams App's Add custom App's Intune : Autopilot Device Assignments/Reassignments IRM Configuration Devices, app's and app approval assignment Compliance policies and configuration profiles Manage windows updates AIP Azure information protection Azure : AAD Management Manage alerts Conditional access policies Virtual machine management Teams Voice Manage call queues Manage auto attendants Teams voice new starters/leavers for customers Powershell script Manage resource accounts Manage group voicemailboxes in 365 Manage phone profiles DDI Management Datto / Desktop / Server support Run automatic jobs Setup monitors Troubleshoot monitor alarms Remote support customers machines General desktop support Domain controller management Run powershell and cmd scripts in the backend Software management Event log diagnostics Run audits and reports in Datto Windows 10 / 11 Support Windows server 2008-2019 support Printers AvePoint Restore Microsoft 365 backups Create backup schedules and policies GDPRA Archive data restore MDM Intune & Knox – approve and push new apps Intune & Knox – new starters / leavers Zero touch configuration profiles Apple DEP Device commands Matric - Essentail Other IT Qualifications - advange Own Car Essentail Apply Now
