The hospitality arm of this renowned property developer is rapidly expanding, managing two buildings with three more to be incorporated by year-end. On track to oversee 200 units by 2025, the team aims to redefine hospitality management with ambitious expansion plans. What you will be doing: Oversee key accounting functions including payable, receivable, ledger, and payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance. Produce precise financial statements such as income, balance, and cash flow, while also establishing effective controls. Conduct routine financial close processes, monitor cash flow and budgets, and analyse financial forecasts to provide insights for strategic decision-making. Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, lead budgeting and planning processes, and offer guidance to drive business growth. Stay updated on evolving accounting regulations, provide ad-hoc financial analysis support, and assist with general duties as needed. What you need: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required. CA (SA), SAIPA, or CIMA qualification preferred. Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential. Experience in hospitality, particularly short-term letting management, is preferred. Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Highly organised individual capable of managing tasks independently. Hard-working, efficient, and deadline-focused with a strong attention to detail. Ability to self-review work for accuracy. Extensive experience with reporting to executives. Good with people and able to work effectively in a team. Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, Office). Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, and complex if formulas.
