We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our team. Financial Statement Preparation: Produce accurate annual financial statements for various entities in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS). Ensure timely completion and submission of financial statements. Tax Compliance: Handle tax matters for entities and individuals, including tax calculations, submissions, and adherence to tax regulations. Stay updated on tax law changes and implications for clients. Provisional Tax Calculations: Prepare accurate provisional tax estimates and submissions to meet regulatory requirements and minimize tax risks for clients. Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing queries, providing financial advice, and ensuring client satisfaction. Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Ad-hoc Reporting and Analysis: Generate customized reports and conduct financial analysis as needed by management. Identify areas for process improvement based on financial data analysis. Matric with an Accounting Degree or studying towards an accounting degree. Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles. 5 years' experience in the industry Good communication skills (Afrikaans & English) Caseware, Draftworx or another similar program Excel, Pastel, Xero knowledge Must be able to work on her/his own. Must be able to work under pressure. Market Related
