Accountant in Practice - Western Cape SPECIFICATION We are a growing accounting firm seeking a versatile professional who is adept at managing both our accounting needs and helping expand our client base in Cape Town. This is a remote position, requiring the candidate to work from home with occasional local travel for networking and client meetings. We are looking for a stable accounting professional – with 3-5 years working experience to join our company. You will be responsible for: Liaising with clients re their business and assist them in making financial decisions Assisting clients in managing their businesses through managing the figures Assist in growing the business in terms of looking for opportunities Keeping accurate records Deliver comprehensive accounting services including bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial reporting, using Xero and Draftworx Develop new business, maintaining high quality client relationships and identifying fresh opportunities. Represent the firm at local networking events and professional gatherings to promote our services. Ensure consistent internet connectivity to maintain productivity and effective communication with clients and the team. What does it take to successfully undertake this role? A completed B.Com (Accounting) 3-5 years working experience with business development experience is a plus Good team player Wanting to not just be a number cruncher, but wanting to make a difference Be passionate Friendly Clear pronunciation and well spoken Good communication skills Very organised Accurate Experience in interacting with customers Excellent PC literacy Confident personality Must have an existing home office with a strong internet connection Must have own vehicle Characteristics we are looking for: Enthusiasm - WANTS to work Accuracy Trustworthy – able to handle confidential transactions Organised Reliable Accurate Honest Service-oriented Positive Confident Passionate High service standards Monthly Salary: R25000 - R35000
