A leading, trusted provider of employment, training, healthcare, wellness, financial services and lifestyle benefits is seeking an Accountant to service the business across Africa. The ideal applicant will have a no travel restriction for extended periods. Maintain accounting records in Accpac Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis Produce monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements Ensure accuracy of P&L statements Prepare budgets and forecasts Prepare monthly cashflow statements Capture and reconcile cashbook Process weekly / monthly journals Prepare debtors age analysis Reconcile intercompany loan accounts Analyse costing templates to ensure profitability of accounts Liaise with in-country accountants / service partners Ensure availability of funds in foreign bank accounts to ensure financial obligations are met Ensure accounts are in payment terms Highlight problem accounts Ensure that payment allocations are done correctly Provide financial reports as requested. Matric Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (B Com Acc with Articles completed preferred) A minimum of 3 years' experience within a similar role A valid passport with no travel restrictions Must have experience in accounting for foreign entities Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Previous experience working with Accpac or similar accounting software Good attention to detail Must be available to travel outside of RSA at short notice and possibly for extended periods Should you not receive a response within 14 days, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
