If so then the Accounts clerk position we have available in our Logisitics business might be a perfect fit for you In this role you will play a vital part in keeping the financial side of our Logistics business running smoothly. Ensure that all (CTO) Container Transport Orders are captured correctly in the cartage system. Capturing all Imports and Exports documentation handed to the cartage division. Checking that the accuracy and availability of details are captured on all documentation and cross reference to ensure timeous payment of invoices. Retrieving and forwarding of pod requests to clients and departments Prepare and reconcile schedules. Following up on missing documentation (CTO'S) Preparation of system adjustments. Reconcile computerized trip sheet to manual driver trip sheets daily; Reconcile import and exports lists Futile trip control and trailer and hauler detention Manual invoicing Reconciliation of transporters invoices weekly / monthly Telephonic and general assistance in office to all other staff Resolve all subcontractor queries Check supplier invoices for payments and ensure that costs are recovered from parties concerned including costs associated with special services rendered Liaise with suppliers Do filling, prepare monthly subcontractor revenue and diesel stats Process invoicing General duties Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Familiarity with accounting principles Excellent organisation skills The ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Additionally, experience in Logistics industry or knowledge of transportation accounting.
