Probe IMT is looking to employ an Accounts Payable Inern to assist with the processing & reconciling supplier accounts and preparation of payments of the business's suppliers timeously and in accordance with cash flow availability. While training will be provided, candidates must possess a foundational understanding of the following responsibilities are required: Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorisation. Ensure invoices are coded correctly and allocated to the appropriate cost centers or accounts. Resolve discrepancies and issues with invoices promptly. S chedule and execute payment run, including checks, electronic transfers, and wire payments. Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems. Capturing all supplier invoices. Creditors reconciliations. Processing adjustments for all payments done through trade finance. Sending remittance advice/payment schedules. Maintain a secure and efficient payment process, ensuring payments are made on time. Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate funds for payments. Opening of new vendors on the accounting system. Obtaining all necessary documentation to load new beneficiaries. Complete credit application forms and attach relevant documents. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate payment terms and discounts when applicable. Address vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues. Ensure adherence to the company's policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the accounts payable department. 0 – 1 years related experience or recent gradate Communication skills Computer Literacy Immediately available Understanding of the full creditors Function
