Job Summary Burger King SA is seeking to employ a qualified and talented Accounts Payable Manager on a 9 month Fixed Term contract. The purpose of the Accounts Payable Manager position is as follows: Set the standard for quality of invoice processing and payments made in AP Review, maintain and implementation of processes and procedures for best business practice in AP Review and approve invoices portaled Review and approve supplier reconciliations for payment Review and approve supplier payments Manage BBBEE Manage Process Manage Procurement Portal Review, maintain and implement relevant processes and procedures for best business practices Prepare and Analyse Supplier spend reports Maintain a current and accurate filing system for the creditors function on Share Point Implement and maintain sound internal controls and standards within Accounts Payable systems Ensure readiness for audits undertaken in the creditors section Invoice Process Management Review invoices portalled on the Procurement portal for SARS VAT compliance , accuracy and allocation to correct GL Review of Income Statement Expense accounts for accuracy and completeness of processing Payments, Reconciliations and Month-end Weekly and monthly cash flow management and consolidation Reviewing files (supplier reconciliation and supporting docs) for payment run Ensure that payments have been authorised according to the required financial procedures Ensure that the suppliers are paid per the agreed terms, accurately and timeously Co-ordinate weekly and month-end payment runs Review monthly reconciliations of creditors accounts to supplier statements Ensure accurate and complete information is delivered on time Audit Prepare all supporting documents for audit samples Attend to all AP audit queries BBBEE Compile and maintain supplier spend reports Obtain supplier BBBEE certificates Manage BBBEE audit, process, main liaison with BBBEE auditors and company Manage and maintain BBBEE portal Minimum Qualifications Relevant Diploma or degree Minimum Working Experience 5 - 10 years' experience within an Accounts Payable department Provident fund Medical Aid Medical Insurance
