Our Logistics Client is looking for a Sales Administrator to join their team based in Wellington, Cape Town Responsible for administrative support to the sales team. Assist the sales team / sales executive with daily admin-related tasks, and daily updates on loads and vehicles. Salary : Market Related Requirements: Grade 12 and Relevant Admin qualification beneficial Advanced computer literate – MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Customer orientated Fluent in English & Afrikaans Geographical knowledge Knowledge of supply chain, beneficial Duties: Escalate customer complaints and queries Update teams sheet accordingly Follow up on outstanding POD's Return calls to be made within 30 minutes as per call-back policy Keep clients updated throughout the process as per clients request Communicate driver updates accordingly Inform client when load is delivered Confirmation updates as per clients request, alternatively at least two confirmation updates per day; early morning and when delivered Sales admin Ensure loads are loaded on TMS system and loadcons have been sent Ensure POD's and loadcons reach finance department timeously Timeous follow-up on POD's All loads to be captured on Soloplan, detailed and accurately Conduct regular account reviews Assist with Credit limit management Keep internal and external clients updated as per client request - either via call, email or WhatsApp Please take note: if you have not been contacted within 14 days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
