Assistant Company Secretary - Midrand
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the legal team to keep a contracts register and to maintain electronic and hard files of original contracts
Assist the legal team to keep and maintain copies of Mine Health and Safety Act legal appointments in electronic and hard files
Maintain a diary of departmental meetings and ensure regular departmental meetings are held
Ensure timely payment of invoices for all litigation, stakeholder engagement and related matters
Circulate and ensure signature of board and shareholder resolutions
Assist when required with drafting of resolutions, letters and other legal documents
Keep an up-to-date register of all companies with all details including CIPC registrations, VAT registrations, UIF registrations, etc
Ensure that all company electronic and hard files have all the company, governance and compliance documents
Ensure document template standardization is maintained on all outward documents
Typing and keeping of minutes and other records as required
Requesting, completing and submitting credit applications and other agreements as required
Any other related activities as and when directed
Minimum requirements:
A LLB degree
1 years experience in a related position
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Highly organized to handle various tasks and manage large amounts of paperwork efficiently
Able to work within strict procedures, meet deadlines, and handle pressure effectively
