Assistant Company Secretary - Pretoria


This position involves providing secretarial and governance support within a group of entities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant legal qualification with 3 - 5 years practical experience
  • Proficient in Afrikaans and English with extensive minute-taking and business writing skills.
  • Dictaphone typing experience and strong organizational abilities.
  • Driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office programs; Adobe Bookmark system experience preferred.

Main Accountabilities, but not limited to:
  • Provide secretariat support for meetings, including preparing minutes, agendas, and decision registers.
  • Assist in trustee and director appointments and liaise with service providers for annual reports.
  • Support governance activities such as reviewing and updating policies and maintaining interest registers.
  • Assist in preparing agendas, rules, and voting protocols for congress meetings.
  • Coordinate funding applications, maintain registers, and handle internal communications for projects and trusts.
