Responsible for the accurate processing, reconciling and management of internal and external payrolls as well as all Tax Concerns Management of payrolls for a minimum of twelve different entities. Signing off and management of all payrolls /- 3600 employees across one hundred PaySpace Frequencies (Weekly, Bi-weekly and Monthly salaries) Processing of salary and wage payrolls (full administrator function) including reconciliation of all payroll data to input documents. (New staff, Terminations, Leave Pay, final pay deductions and all changes as per input documents) Validating data supplied by the Client Liaison Officers as correct and as per legislation. Management of all changes to Bargaining Council rules a legislated. (Increases and changes to benefit funds, e.g. Provident Fund percentage contribution changes) Reconciling and submission of PAYE, UIF & SDL on a monthly (EMP201) and bi-annual (EMP501) basis for Twelve different entities Check ETI Calculations Submission and reconciliation of Tax Year End IRP5's to EMP201's Reconcile and submit all documents for SARS On-site audits and on-line audit and verifications. Submission and reconciliation of TERS and WABU Audits Reconciling and processing of third-party payments. MIBCO, MEIBC, NBCRFLI, BCCEI, Momentum, Unions, Garnishees, UIF Declarations, Ledger to staff Loan Accounts and Medical Aid. Supplying Outsourced Clients with salary journals and all third-party reconciliations Supplying month end reports, payments and journals to finance Manage staff queries with regards to tax and UIF. Apply for tax directives when necessary Balancing leave and generating leave and bonus provision reports for finance Constantly looking for ways and implementing processes to make the payroll department more efficient. Generation, processing and reconciling of payroll data to client invoices. Follow up with client queries when invoices aren't paid Advising clients on best payroll practices and legislation Supply reports to Payroll Outsourced clients as and when requested by the client Generation of Equity Reports Generation of STATS SA Reports Assisting staff with general system queries and updates Setting up new frequencies on PaySpace Management of PaySpace including writing new calculations and setting up/changing client requirements within the system. Training of staff on PaySpace & general knowledge enhancements Checking grammar and spelling of all internal and external documents within the company. Oversee and sign off on all UI19's, salary schedules and Certificates of Service. Spot check to ensure that the employee files are being managed correctly and that all documents have been scanned and saved into the electronic employee files as well and the hard copy employee files Competent in MS office – Advanced Excel Passionate about Personal and Payroll Tax Advanced PaySpace knowledge advantageous Setting up frequencies, calculations of components, ETI Setup and Leave Accruals Experience in Management of payroll team – minimum eight direct reports Excellent ability to Reconcile complex data Proven track record of SARS submissions (EMP's, ETI, UIF, IRP5's etc) Embodies Values & Behaviours in all internal and external interactions.
