Job Description Our client has a vacancy available in their Johannesburg branch (Rosebank area) for a professional assistant with a minimum of 3 years' experience in High Court litigation. The job requirements are as follows: Be skilled with Case Lines and Court Online systems. Able to prepare and manage correspondence, client reports and documents Updating of clients in accordance with the SLA. Proficient in Diary Management. Must be able to follow up with agents, sheriffs, staff, and Clients. Strong drafting skills of Section 129 and 345 Notices, Combined Summonses, Application for Default Judgments, Summary Judgments, Liquidations, Sequestrations and Writs of Execution. Ability to litigate out of the High Court and the Magistrate's Court. Experience in this field of law is required. Be knowledgeable with drafting to comply with the NCA and understand its application Qualifications LLB Degree. Admitted Attorney. Right of appearance in the High Court will be an added advantage Skills Minimum 3 years experience in High Court Litigation. Must be organised and able to take initiative – work independently. Computer literate - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Ability to work under pressure Proficiency in office administration. Professional telephone manners. Salary / Package R25,000-R30,000 Gross per month commensurate with experience. Benefits Negotiable
