This includes conducting assurance engagements globally, assessing risks, suggesting improvements, and supporting the commitment to safety, sustainability, and human rights. If you're passionate about promoting a safe, ethical, and sustainable work environment, this role is for youSend your CV to Shouneezsalixrecruitment.co.za Duties: Plan and execute HSEC and Human Rights assurance audits, focusing on significant risks and strategic themes. Identify and assess risks, as well as mitigating controls. Propose improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of HSEC and Human Rights programs. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels, including senior management. Manage resources, budgets, and work plans to ensure assurance activities are carried out efficiently. Conduct assessments to identify control gaps and support the development of appropriate action plans. Present assurance and advisory results at asset, departmental, and senior management levels. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12 Undergraduate in Accounting or Internal Audit Certificate in Health, Safety, Environment, Community, Human Rights Management, Engineering, or a related field Completed CIA or CA(SA) Experience: 8 to 10 year's experience in Internal Audit Experience in an international environment, preferably in mining or a related industry. At least 5 years of HSEC and Human Rights management experience. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with HSEC and Human Rights methodologies and best practices. Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a global team. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Exceptional time management and organizational skills. Motivation to continuously learn and adapt. Desire to contribute to a world-class assurance team.
