A company based in the East Rand is in search of a dynamic individual to join our team Our company specialises in compressed air and downstream equipment - supply and service The ideal candidate is a male between ages 20 and 28 Candidates with technical skills and understanding preferred No criminal record Valid drivers license – EB Reside in the East Rand Have a valid passport (or willing to obtain one) Proactive Technical orientated Analytical Self – motivated Physical able and presentable with clean sober habits Excellent at time management Communicative Flexible to work overtime and where necessary on weekends and public holidays Job Specification – Duties in regards to dryer service assistant To conduct general servicing and repairs to desiccant / twin tower dryers To diagnose faults on site/ workshop on desiccant dryers and to provide clear feedback (via WhatsApp/ app / email) to service coordinator and audit technician for reporting/ quotation and invoicing purposes. To ensure tools and primary equipment is reliable and presentable. To assist in customer service tasks on site with customers related to service and repairs of their plants. Willing to travel (on short notice from time to time), within South African and bordering countries (Flying, and driving) Liaise with customers Report to workshop foreman and service coordinator Job Specification – Duties in regards to air audit assistant To liaise with customers in regards to instrumentation installations procedures and requirements (New / Audit / Consulting basis) To install, on a temporary or permanent basis, instruments on site country wide / cross borders Perform air audits (using speciales equipment) on site (training in various instrumentation will be presented) To preform, pre delivery inspection (PDI) testing and setups to new instruments Ensure instrumentation certification is current / logged etc. To ensure good instrumentation upkeep, transportation and presentation to customers Correctly remove dataloggers & instrumentation from site where it was installed Prepare return equipment for export for calibration purposes Report to audit technician Technical background will be advantageous Electrical background will be advantageous Knowledge and understanding of compressed air advantageous Basic understanding of pneumatic systems (gas/pressurised air systems) In-house training will be provided (CTC) R15 000 – R18 000 OVERTIME Company cell phone with limited contract Use of company vehicle during work hours Own reliable transport to and from work – ESSENTIAL
