Backend Developer/Engineer - Fourways
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP and MySQL
- Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate backend functionality with frontend interfaces
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot and debug backend issues as they arise
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in backend development
- Work closely with the design and product teams to implement new features and enhancements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in PHP development
- Proficiency in MySQL and database design
- Knowledge of React and familiarity with Joomla/MVC is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
