Bookkeeper / Administrator - Pietermaritzburg

Bookkeeping Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting tasks using Pastel software
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reconciliations for two companies
  • Handle SARS submissions and compliance requirements
  • Assist in preparing for annual external audits
  • Perform banking functions

Client Admin Support:

  • Process client applications, including electronic document checking for compliance
  • Interpret financial documents and cash flows for processing
  • Input client data accurately into the system

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education, preferably in BCom Finance, Agri, Systems, or Economics
  • 1-2 years of finance experience preferred
  • Strong accounting knowledge, particularly in Pastel
  • Understanding of agriculture, especially crop production, logistics, and risks

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
