Cashier: Catering Services - South Africa

CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

The purpose of this post is to provide a welcoming, professional, and customer-focused cashier and barista service ensuring accurate account of all stock and transactions within a catering retail environment

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Customer management
• Cash Management.
• Administrative duties e.g. any task related to operations within Catering service.
• Compliance to food safety and health and safety requirements.
• Provide professional customer experience.
• Stock merchandizing and stock administration
• Ad hoc duties e.g. Beverage production

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge and understanding of POS system
• Literacy skills
• Knowledge and understanding of menu, prices and specials
• Knowledge and understanding of food, health and safety require Quality and tasteful beverages
• Increased customer base
• Ability to handle food and hot beverages
• Organised and detail oriented

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

¨ Matric/Grade 12.

¨ Cash Management Certificate

¨ Valid drivers licence

¨ 1 3 years cashier experience

¨ 1-year Barista experience advantageous

¨ 2 years experience in a customer services environment.
