Description Sagen Advisory Recruitment Company has an exciting opportunity for a Centre Manager position with a reputable Property Management company based in the Southern Suburbs, Westlake Area of Cape Town. We seek a highly motivated individual to oversee the center's day-to-day operations and ensure tenant satisfaction. Responsibilities: Daily Tasks for Centre Manager: Ensure the centre is well-maintained at all times. Sign the Daily Register for security and cleaners, addressing any issues. Issue Daily Job descriptions to subordinates and cleaning staff. Conduct site walks to inspect property for damages and maintenance needs. Hold daily meetings with security and cleaners supervisors. Arrears / Rental: Contact and visit tenants regarding arrears as instructed by the Head office. Asset Maintenance & Management: Monitor maintenance staff and conduct regular building inspections. Manage service providers in line with agreements. Maintain daily records of repairs. Address maintenance issues and obtain quotes for approval. Manage on-site service contractors for various tasks. Ensure preventative maintenance and compliance reports. Manage consumables effectively. Information Management: Follow up on outstanding leases, FICA documents, and deposits. Update tenant reports monthly. Ensure correct Electrical/Water metering. Issue monthly statements to tenants. Promotions Reporting & Staff Management: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Manage relationships between staff, clients, and support services. Delegate responsibilities effectively. Provide training opportunities and career development. Motivate staff and liaise with tenants professionally. Tenant Retention & Liaison: Maintain good relations with all centre stakeholders. Respond promptly to tenant queries and maintenance issues. Ensure tenants comply with house rules and lease agreements. Understand tenants' businesses and industries, keeping abreast of industry trends. Liaise with the Head office for marketing and promotions. Facilitate tenant meetings for improvements or changes. Monthly & General Meetings: Schedule weekly and monthly meetings to manage relationships with stakeholders. Coordinate with management, community leaders, security, waste management, etc. Address any community involvement, job opportunities, and operational issues. Other Responsibilities: Assist in new developments as needed. Fulfil any tasks requested by management and the Head office. Objective: Ensure tenant satisfaction and effective management of the Centre. Renumeration Market and experience related.
