Our reputable Construction client is currently seeking a Civil Contracts Manager to join their team to be based in Durban. Salary : Market Related Requirements : Microsoft Suite of Programs Microsoft Projects CCS Build Smart 10 to 15 Years of Experience in roads and earthworks / Experience in the water (uPVC, HDPE and Welded Steel) and Sewer pipelines of various diameters including concrete works in the form of chambers and (reservoir construction up to 5Ml) National Diploma: Civil Eng BTech and BSC Advantage SACPCMP ECSA NQF Level 5 – 7 (Labour Intensive) Responsibilities : Liaises with clients site staff and agrees quantities, programmes etc. Sets and maintains production targets and operates. within prescribed cost budgets. Sets site programme in terms of allowable. Sets and maintains work sequences and construction programmes. Co-ordinates and controls the activities of site staff. Agree quality and safety standards with site staff and monitor implementation. Implements daily site costing and monitors. Monitors allowable programme with foreman. Ensures account cost capturing. Submits accurate monthly revenue certificates and cost Estimates. Produce monthly CES. Material requisitions within cost budgets and cash flow.
