REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 3 yearsâ experience as a Commercial Lines Underwriter (Medium to Large Commercial)
A minimum of 3 yearsâ experience at a Short Term Insurance brokerage
MS Office (Word, Excel)
RE5 - Non Negotiable
FAIS compliant
Excellent customer service skills

DUTIES:

Take appropriate action to minimize cancellations
Ensure retention targets are met
Ensure that all stakeholder (e.g. clients, AEâs, insurers) communication is accurate, timeous, professional and relevant
Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure and contribute to achieving own and company required client satisfaction targets
General Enquiries such as but not limited to cover, products, processes
New Business, Renewals, Endorsements and Re-broke
Cancellations
Ensure productivity targets are met
Adhere to company mandates
Participate and contribute in ad hoc projects
Keep accurate record of own activities

Ensure continuous self-development
Ensure objectives of own development plans are achieved
Ensure productivity and quality assurance targets are met
