Construction Foreman - 6 Month contract - - Centurion

Minimum requirements:

Matric
Tertiary qualification would be advantageous
Preferably: Applicants have 5+ years of experience in construction.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and elevations.
Evaluating job priorities and assigning employees to correct job tasks.
Proficient in math skills.
Must be a hard worker and a team player.
Giving crew members clear instructions on what needs to be done to avoid mistakes or rework.
To drive company vehicles, you must have a valid drivers license and a clean motor vehicle record.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Knowledge of safety standards pertaining to construction field.
During peak season, ability to work overtime and occasional weekends.
Always follow the dress code and comply of proper PPE.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans is a plus.
Experience in people management and record keeping.
Cooperate with owners, clients, managers, subcontractors, and employees and maintain a positive working relationship.
Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meet quality standards.
