Reference: SW004748-CL-1 URGENTLY HIRING EXTERNAL SALES CONSULTANT - HVAC Systems Cape Town : A leading importer and distributor of hot water heat pumps, water storage and air-conditioning systems in South Africa is seeking to employ a dynamic SALES CONSULTANT to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, communicating with customers, product sales, and providing customer service. CANDIDATES RESIDENT IN THE CAPE PENINSULA AND SURROUNDING REGION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION Applicants must have a good track record in SALES, ideally in the Air Conditioning / HVAC industry. Mechanical Engineering accreditation and experience of heat pumps would be a great advantage. Responsibilities include calling on customers, creating new contacts, visiting specifier consultants to have products specified, educating customers and consultants regarding the product, preparing briefs and quotations for clients, following up on outstanding quotes and maintaining quote pipeline in Accounting System. Criteria Mechanical or Electrical Engineering accreditation Experience in the HVAC industry will be a great advantage Additional qualifications in Project Management, Marketing and Customer Relationship Management would be an advantage Sales skills, with the ability to upsell Technical support and communication skills Customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans Ability to work in a team as well as independently Excellent computer literacy Key Responsibilities: Equipment sales which include site visits to acquire information required to quote Visiting specifier consultants to obtain products specified Sales and account management of current and new clients Analyse sales opportunities Prepare customer briefs for quotation purposes Maintaining quote pipeline in Accounting System Follow up on outstanding quotes Work closely with customers in understanding product requirements Promote the value and capabilities of products Maintain current product knowledge all equipment Monitor competitive activity and product Managing the order process through the system until installed and paid for Other daily tasks may include conducting product demonstrations and providing training to clients Basic market related good commission structure fuel allowance - Monthly plus Fuel allowance commission Apply Now
