To provide operational Training and Development for Operational Departments in Cape Gate to assist Departmental Manager with process problems/improvements Compliance Apply ISO standards and procedures Training and Development Identify operational departmental & individual training needs Analyze training needs to develop new training programmes or modify and improve existing programs. Develop / adapt training modules for each job in the operations process by developing teaching aids, such as training handbooks, demonstration models and multimedia visual aids Liaison with Plant Manager to plan, prioritise and arrange training interventions Assist Line with on the job training Extract raining report to ensure all OSHACT training is organised and up to date Assist in the development of training plans Assessments / Evaluations Develop Assessment documents Do assessments Learnerships / Education Schedule learnership training program Reporting and Administration File training / Assessment records for area of responsibility Forward all training registers / invoices to HRD Manager Operational Support Assist with operational problem solving People Management Process / Team working relationship Assistance given to team members in execution of duties Perform any reasonable ad hoc as requested by team members Effective communication Minimum Qualification: ND Training / ND Production Management / Metallurgy Minimum Experience: 1 year Training and Development Experience 3 years specific plant experience (Steelmaking / steel rolling / wire manufacturing) Knowledge Principles and practices of adult learning Skills and Employment Equity Legislation Instructional methods, training techniques including curriculum design, learning theory, group and individual techniques Skills Excellent verbal and written communication Planning and Organising Time Management Problem solving Analytical Presentation Interpersonal Computer Literacy Competencies required Socially Confident Democratic Data rational Evaluative Adaptable Detail Conscientious Rule Following Innovative Conscientious
