The Fancourt Marketing Team, representing our internationally acclaimed golf and leisure resort, is looking to recruit a professional Content Creator. We need someone who can capture the essence of the experience and lifestyle we offer, and who can communicate it effectively across various platforms.

We are looking for someone to produce and manage the quality and quantity of content distributed internally and outside the Company, and to ensure that the Companys reputation and voice add to the quality of traffic generated.

We are looking for someone we can trust to pay attention to the detail, but not lose sight of the main objectives. We need a team player who is dependable, cooperative, and does not shy away from, or gets demotivated by, challenging goals and a highly pressurised environment.

Key performance areas are all tied to the generation and management of digital content, and the success it has in our various revenue streams (domestic and international).

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Develop, manage, and implement various forms of content for media and marketing solutions and campaigns across all marketing disciplines and platforms;
  • Develop and manage both internal and external communications including editorial, social media and audience development efforts for all branded content;
  • Ensure that all media, communication and brand exposure initiatives and content is aligned;
  • Write editorials, blogs and news content on relevant topics;
  • Grow and manage the companys brand, position and presence in the market.
ESSENTIAL / CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Grade 12 + Relevant tertiary qualification
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Knowledge of and experience in relevant software packages
  • Knowledge of and experience in managing content across various social media platforms
  • At least 18 months relevant work and industry experience

  • Have above average content creation and copywriting skills,
  • Have superior listening and learning, communication and negotiation skills,
  • Effectively apply critical and analytical thinking, decision-making and complex problem-solving skills,
  • Organise, plan and prioritise work, and successfully deliver against quality and timeline expectations, and
  • Be able to establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
The nature of our operations and offering means that we can only consider candidates who are willing and happy to work non-regular hours from time to time (beyond 5pm, on public holidays, etc.) and who are fit and able to carry out the normal responsibilities attached to this job.
