Report to the Procurement Manager and be responsible for drafting and reviewing contractual agreements between the company and other parties which includes mainly suppliers of goods and services, customers and other stakeholders to the company. Manage contractual relationships, mitigating risks and ensuring that the company contractual obligations are clearly defined and all obligations of contractors are clearly defined, managed and contribute to the efficient operation and success of the business whilst minimizing legal and financial risks. A completed B.Com (Law) or LLB is essential for the role, coupled with 3-5 years contract experience in commerce . KPI's include: Manage, co-ordinate and administer contracts with suppliers; maintaining key supplier contacts database; maintain central contract repository; develop standardized contract templates; preparing draft legal and commercial terms to support procurement sourcing processes; tender compilation administrative support; developing and presenting project proposals; discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal agreements in accordance with risk assessment and technical requirements; validating and advising on supplier claims cost and scope variation requests; attending site meetings to monitor contract implementation performance; acting as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and suppliers on all contractual matters; working with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that all stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities in relation to contract execution; liaising with technical and financial staff, suppliers and internal and external legal teams; validating invoicing amounts against contractual fees, payment terms and deliverables; contract performance and consequence management (beach notices, penalties, termination notices, claims etc.); and raising awareness and monitoring code of ethics compliance in supplier dealings.
