Reference: Pta000067-VLR-1 We have an opportunity for a Consumables Co-ordinator in the City Deep area in the South of Johannesburg for a company within the FMCG industry. Requirements: Grade 12 Tertiary qualification: NQF 5/6 or equivalent 2 years relevant experience Accounts payable experience (Creditors) MRP System Advanced Ms. Excel Forklift license Other Skills required: Procurement Ethics Financial (specific Accounts Payable) Negotiations IR Risk Management Leadership Communication Decision Making Responsibilities (Not limited to): PROCUREMENT Ensure Purchase Orders are placed timeously Assist with expediting when escalation is required Calculate forward orders for Projects Place orders to ensure new lines / Projects start up in time Supplier Meetings Product quality issues Monitor stock levels on crucial items Supplier Claims BRC / HALAL Area inspection to ensure auditing compliance: Traceability H&S FIFO Allergen Packaging vs Ingredients Obtain documents and Declarations on new Suppliers and for audits. STOCK TAKE Ensure regular cycle counts Managing and closing monthly stock takes Processing / approve variance processing. Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
