Non negotiables: EE candidate Must be based in Cape Town Must have Fintech/Payments experience Must have management experience Role and responsibilities: Overseeing of the Commercial Function and the delivery of Sales Goals, the Country Manager will be part of the core management team driving the global goals across the organisation as well. Commercial Success: Developing and executing strategic plans to meet sales targets Monitoring and managing all sales activities within the region Managing merchant portfolio, develop and upsell Lead generation of a robust sales pipeline Collaborating with global and regional sales units to onboard global and enterprise-level merchants Analysing and enhancing sales efficiency Develop and refine customer satisfaction strategies Strategic Leadership: Facilitate cross functional collaboration and breaking down silos within the organisation Ensuring alignment of local management with organisational goals Possess a deep understanding of local market complexities and share insights with broader organization Responsible for negotiations with the banks and acquirers and alternative payments providers in order to optimize costs Negotiate with payment organisations Product and Engineering Management Provide strategic input into the product roadmap based on regional market requirements Operational excellence: Ensure alignment between the commercial function and global functions to maximize operational efficiency Identify and address any process gaps and inefficiencies and drive corrective actions. Finance Management: Responsibility for full country financial results Work closely with commercial finance team to ensure pricing of products are accurate and updated Track sales achievements weekly and quarterly Deep payments/fintech industry experience Track record of delivery on global sales targets Managment of commercial function Senior management experience Excellent sales ability Strategic capability and experience Apply Now
