Well known organisation in the property management industry requires an experienced Debtors Clerk / Credit Controller with 5 years relevant experience. The Credit Controller conducts credit checks on new customers, resolves issues in relation to receipts and reconciliations of invoices and statements. Complex month-end reporting. They must also report to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor issues. Open new debtor accounts and ongoing maintenance thereof Accurate processing of data and notes Allocating debtors receipts from remittances received from customers Strict application and monitoring of credit limits and terms Administering of settlement discounts as per terms Supply statements, invoices and relevant information on time to debtors Reporting all outstanding customer issues to management and highlighting any potential debtor's issues. Filing of all documents and correspondence in accordance with POPIA Reconciling debtors accounts Timeous completion of month-end procedures and reporting Strict adherence to all company controls, procedures and processes Credit Control for the book debts of the Property Group Follow up on outstanding debts for National Tenants Follow up on queries on National Tenants Handling all queries with Tenants Communication and feedback to Tenants Collection of old Debts within the Property Group Liasing with lawyers regarding legal process Ad hoc duties Matric / Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 MDA accounting programme experience will be advantageous. A minimum of 5 years Debtors / Credit Control experience is essential. Debtors experience within a property management environment Computer literate and efficient in Microsoft Office Excellent interpersonal skills Good communication and advanced telephone skills Good administration skills with a high level of numeracy Ability to deal with several tasks at a time Ability to work according to deadlines and with attention to detail.
