Reference: NWN000110-NBo-1 A leading firm in vehicle security and safety is looking for an experienced and strategic minded Credit Manager to join their team based in Johannesburg West. Your role requires you to manage a team of 50 staff members and ensure the efficient operation of accounts receivable. You will also be responsible for optimizing collections, cash flow and credit control processes with a particular focus on subscriber base chum management and debit order collection management. Your duties include but are not limited to: Design and implement effective credit control strategies, policies and procedures that align with the company's financial goals Analyse credit data and financial statements to make informed credit decisions and identify potential risks Review and approve credit holds and releases, balancing risk and business needs Develop and implement strategies to monitor and reduce subscriber base chum, working closely with market relations team Optimise debit order collection process to reduce errors and minimize failed payments Oversee accounts handed over to legal for collections, ensuring effective recovery while minimizing legal expenses Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including customers, credit reporting agencies and auditors Education: Completed Degree in Accounting or related Job Experience & Skills Required: Minimum of 10 to 15 years of consistent experience in a similar role Strong knowledge with Credit Laws Experience with high book values Advanced Excel skills Financial acumen Assertive personality Ability to cope under pressure Excellent communication skills Team Player Deadline driven Meticulous organisational and time management skills APPLY NOW If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
