We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Capturer to join our clients insurance brokerages underwriting team. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately and efficiently input and update insurance-related data into our databases. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our insurance records, ensuring seamless operations within the company. Data Capturing: Enter insurance-related data into the company's database systems accurately and promptly. This includes policy information, customer details, claims data, premiums, endorsements, and other relevant insurance-related data. Data Verification: Review and cross-check the captured data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information. Make necessary corrections and validations to ensure data accuracy Document Management: Organize and maintain physical and electronic documents related to insurance policies, claims, and other relevant records in a systematic manner. Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks to ensure that data entered into the systems meets the company's data standards and compliance requirements. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive customer and company information with utmost confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies and regulations. Reporting: Generate reports and summaries from the captured data as requested by management, underwriters, or other relevant departments. Communication: Collaborate with other team members, underwriters, agents, and brokers to gather additional information or clarify data-related queries. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining data capture processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Data Security: Implement security measures to safeguard the company's data from unauthorized access or data breaches. Training: Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on new data capturing procedures and technologies. Non-negotiable Requirements: Matric Certificate Own laptop (Windows 10 Operating System, 8GB RAM, SSD (Solid State Drive) 256 GB or more, WiFi standards: Intel Wireless-AC or Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX) Reliable transport Experience: Prior experience as a data capturer or in a similar data entry role is preferred but not mandatory. Fresh graduates with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Computer Proficiency: Proficient typing and computer skills are essential. Familiarity with database management systems and data entry software is a plus.
