We are seeking a talented Digital and Graphic Designer with previous experience in the medical field and events, particularly in congress stand designs, to join our team in Cape Town. As a Digital and Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in creating visually compelling digital assets, print materials, and congress stand designs that promote our innovative medical device products and support our presence at industry events. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Suite and Canva, possess their own car and driver's license, and demonstrate a strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions tailored to the healthcare sector. Design engaging digital assets for various platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and digital advertisements, to effectively communicate our brand message and product features. Develop high-quality graphic designs for print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and banners, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging across all channels. Create innovative congress stand designs and booth graphics for medical device exhibitions and events, incorporating product showcases, interactive elements, and compelling visuals to attract visitors. Collaborate closely with the Customer Excellence Team (marketing and events) to translate technical specifications and medical concepts into visually appealing and easy-to-understand graphics and presentations. Conduct research to gather visual references and stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in medical device marketing and event design. Work with external vendors, suppliers, and production teams to coordinate the production and installation of congress stand designs and event materials, adhering to budget and timeline requirements. Assist in the development of event collateral, including invitations, signage, promotional materials, and multimedia presentations, to support marketing and promotional efforts. Maintain organised files and documentation of design assets, project timelines, and event specifications to facilitate efficient workflow and collaboration across teams. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for optimisation and innovation in digital and graphic design practices. Stay updated on advancements in design software and tools, continuously enhancing skills and capabilities to deliver high-quality design solutions. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field. Proven experience as a digital and graphic designer, with previous work in the medical device industry and events. Strong portfolio showcasing creative and impactful design projects, including congress stand designs, event materials, and digital marketing assets. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva, with advanced skills in graphic design software and tools. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare regulations, and industry standards related to medical device marketing and communications. Experience in event planning, exhibition design, or trade show management is highly desirable. Must possess a valid driver's license and own car with flexibility to travel and support onsite event setup and coordination as needed. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense, with a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions that resonate with target audiences.
