Diesel Mechanic - East London

Our client is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join the Wilsonia, East London team, · Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and vehicles to identify and address any issues. · Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems and propose solutions for repair. · Repair and replace defective parts, components, or systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering mechanisms. · Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks. · Use diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines and vehicle systems. · Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and labor hours. · Grade 12 · Trade tested Diesel Mechanic, · Minimum 3 years' relevant experience, · Welding experience, · Boilermaking experience will be an advantage, · Valid drivers license
