Our client, an established road transport/logistics company located in Paarl, has an opportunity for a Junior Diesel Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate is an energetic, proactive and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will report to the Workshop Manager Maintenance and repair of trucks, trailers, and farm implements Maintenance planning in collaboration with the Workshop Manager Assistance service and emergency repairs Compliance with occupation health and safety legislation Administrative tasks such as completing worksheets and timesheets Record keeping of maintenance and planning Any other tasks related to the position Completed qualification / training as a Diesel Mechanic Relevant experience in a similar position Own reliable transport required Code 14 (EC) license with PDP Willingness to work weekends and overtime as per operational requirements
