Candidates with experience in yellow machinery can also apply. Applicants do not necessarily need agricultural technician experience, but must be a qualified Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician. Duties & Responsibilities Perform all duties of a Diesel Mechanic including: (1) Removal, disassembly and reconditioning of components and difficult diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment (2) May specialize on all types of equipment (3) Perform a mix of shop and/or road (in the field) work, as required, which includes Precision AG repairs. Perform any and all service tasks as assigned May perform machine optimizations May assist or support in customer clinics Assists other technicians with diagnostics Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment in good working order Desired Experience & Qualifications: Valid Mechanical Trade Certificate / Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate Certified Journeyperson or equivalent 4 years of experience performing relevant service repairs Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrains, air-conditioning, mechanical and electrical systems, used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment, and as they apply to machines marketed by the dealership. Good English communication skills - read, write and speak effectively High School Diploma Forklift license preferred Willingness to learn and work hard Critical Requirements: Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes Ability to lift at least 40 lbs repeatedly; ability to lift between 40-75 lbs as needed Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends and holidays, if necessary Ability to self-manage Having and maintaining a valid driver's license required Salary: USD 38.00 / hour (before tax) Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, if necessary Benefits: This is a permanent position Sponsored Provincial Immigration Program Spouse & children can go with (permanently) Spouse with a workable permit - to work in Canada A favorable Incentive program provided by the employer with no cost involved for the candidate and spouse/children to move to Canada Medical & Life Insurance (some benefits require co-payment)
