Key Responsibilities:- Formulate and review short, medium, and long-term strategies for Retail Banking in line with the Bank's group plan
- Set targets for Retail Banking bank-wide by products, regions, and branches
- Develop and implement strategies for Retail Banking, including marketing and sales strategies, product development, and customer relationship management
- Coordinate with Commercial Banking and Institutional Banking divisions to develop and maintain customer relationships
- Supervise business plans and activities of Products Heads and their teams to achieve divisional targets
- Foster efficient collaboration with other divisions for smooth workflow and effective collaboration
- Develop a customer management framework based on customer insights and market analysis
- Monitor and report on the performance of all retail product offerings bank-wide
Qualifications and Requirements:- Minimum of 14 years' experience in banking, with at least 3 years in a management role in Retail Banking
- A good first degree in any discipline, with a relevant Master's degree considered an advantage
- A recognized professional certification will be an added advantage
- Excellent customer relationship development and management skills
- Strong strategic orientation and advanced selling skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the Namibian retail market and banking operations
- Familiarity with domestic and international banking operations, products, and industry analysis
