The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for driving the E-Commerce business forward by improving the customer experience, managing customer order fulfilment, and developing technology and infrastructure initiatives. To also manage developing data-driven commercial insights and maintaining the company's partnerships. Sales Management: Inventory management and tracking, uploading products Optimise the customer's online shopping journey Manage online store sales channels Improve check conversion, depth, width, and business margins Achieve network sales targets by income and product group. Analyzing projects, advertising, and marketing effectiveness. Website Management: Collaborate with relevant departments namely marketing, customer service, IT, warehouse. Manage e-commerce account (s), serve as the relationship's gatekeeper, and escalate as needed. Maintaining online orders Website crisis management Manage online store merchandising People Management: Participate in recruitment. Create a training system, assess needs, and arrange skills development initiatives. Team motivation (KPI and non-material incentive systems) Conduct frequent staff meetings (ie. weekly check ins) Process Management: Prepare monthly and quarterly related reports. Collaborate with the marketing team on marketing initiatives to promote sales. Develop and improve online store operations. Relevant Digital / E-Commerce qualification Risk and crisis management Strong interpersonal skills. Strong leadership skills in managing diverse teams and multiple departments. Digital / E-Commerce aptitude and experience is a must Data analytic skills. Proficient experience in Shopify platform R20 000 - R25 000
