Plan and design electrical reticulation systems for buildings, encompassing lighting, earthing, and lightning protection systems. This includes creating Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), General Arrangements (GAs), and schematics. Utilize AutoCAD for design work. Perform basic system calculations for fault level assessments and similar requirements. Conduct material selection, develop specifications, and generate Bills of Quantities (BOQs). Ensure all designs adhere to SANS 10142 standards. Mandatory knowledge of SANS 10142 is required. Design standby generation systems as part of the project scope. Develop supply designs for HVAC systems. Extend supply designs to encompass other systems such as security, surveillance, and fire systems. Education: Minimum N6 or S4 diploma in Electrical Engineering. Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Strong focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Proficiency in Revit and Building Management Systems is advantageous.
