Education:
At-least B.Sc. Electrical Engineering

Experience:
5 Years +

Requirements:

Qualification to be required is Pr Eng.
Engineering detailed design and construction experience on utility scale solar PV projects with aggregate capacity of +100 MWp
Understand all relevant standards for solar electrical connection
Understand design specifications and technical drawings.
Review detail Engineering of Protection & Control Systems for substations and renewable energy power plants.
Review Protection & Control, SCADA & Telecom system specifications and datasheets.
Review Metering & Protection Single Line Diagrams
Review Relay setting calculations, CT/VT sizing calculations, Protection Coordination studies.
Review Detail Engineering of SCADA & Telecommunication systems.
Supervision and training of Junior Engineers, Designer and Draftsman, Team Management
Providing technical support for business development activities such as developing proposals
Understanding of IEC, IEEE, NFPA and Grid Code.
English Communication (Verbal & Written)

Software:
ETAP, Power factory, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office

Job Location:
Cape Town, South Africa or PMC office or Site.
