Sandton, JHB | Salary Market Related We have an opportunity for an Experienced Storage Engineer to join a Thriving Company based in JHB. Join a leader in commercial and industrial solar projects space with an extensive pipeline of high quality successful projects. Preparation of detailed electrical solar designs and drawings for construction using AutoCad and other CAD tools Take a leading role in detailed costing of solutions and financial modelling in developing the deal for presentation to the client; especially for complex and MV integrated solutions Preparation of tender and proposal documents Attending business development client meetings Guarantee adherence to solar and electrical codes and regulations Regularly monitor and evaluate information and data systems (e.g., solar system monitoring platforms) that could affect analytical results Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service Understand and implement compliance documentation. Execute new technical integrations to support related activities Maintain and manage technical product support Resolve and respond to customer issues and inquiries Train, guide and mentor junior/fellow technical staff in their day-to-day functions Assist and support technicians in executing projects Commissioning of grid tie solar PV systems (mostly Sungrow) and Hybrid solar systems (Victron, Atess and Sunsynk etc) with/without genset integration. Experience of working with Freedom Won and Solar MD batteries will be an added advantage Btech/ BEng Electrical, Megatronics or related degree (PR. Eng. Registration will be an added advantage) 3/5 years of Commercial Solar Storage projects experience Advanced Technical Knowledge concerning storage, Solar and back up power systems Hybrid Solar Systems Design, Install and Technical Support Knowledge of the solar and electrical codes and regulations R60/R70 000.00 pm Negotiable
