Our client in the Netherlands is looking for a South African Electrical Engineer to relocate. We are ideally looking for candidates who can speak basic Dutch / or fluent Afrikaans (and willing to learn Dutch). Your role as the Electrical Engineer on site will be to ensure that colleagues can execute their tasks effectively and that your clear designs provide them with the necessary guidance, eliminating any surprises. Your designs need to be meticulous, incorporating elements such as cable and lighting calculations, security and fire alarm plans, and installation diagrams. Electrical Design: Manage the entire electrical design process, from the specification phase to implementation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards. Project Switching: Seamlessly transition between different construction projects, staying updated on the latest developments and requirements. Team Management: Oversee and guide electrical draughtsmen and modelers, ensuring their work aligns with project objectives and quality standards. Interim Project Monitoring: Monitor projects closely, promptly implementing any necessary changes and communicating updates to all stakeholders. Your Role in Projects: Each project begins with a specification provided by a structural engineer or architect, which you translate into detailed designs. Your meticulous approach ensures that designs meet project requirements and standards. Degree in Electrical Engineering Relevant work experience as an Electrical Engineer Experience in construction / building sector - advantageous Valid drivers license
