Embroidery Planner (Apparel Industry) - Durban - - Durban

Matric / Diploma/NQF 4 qualification or equivalent
A post matric qualification in Production Management or other relevant field would be advantageous
Min 3 years' planning experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Computer literate with a high level of proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel)
Placing Purchase Orders for thread and fabric being used and following up on deliveries
Processing documentation quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary
Planning of production on the relevant machines
Weekly stock assessment
Auditing production capacity, comparing the plan with actual production and reporting on anomalies
Resolving issues and troubleshooting
Attend daily departmental meetings with branding manager
Innovative and meticulous, with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to manage own time effectively with a keen sense of urgency
Ability work effectively under pressure within a team environment
High level of personal resilience
