Purpose of Role: - To manage and monitor the Energy Efficiency of the group in line with BKSA Energy Policies, Net Zero Drivers and Shareholder ESG strategies. - Ensure the successful implementation of an Energy Management System that; ensures conservation measures, methods, and best practices. - Monitor Energy consumption and behaviours across group, - Assess business decisions for sustainability and energy security. Effective Risk Management - Develop and monitor improvement processes and performance management across the group for Energy efficiencies - Enable an effective Training and Communication Strategy of Energy Efficiency across all staff. Energy Management: - Develop and implement Energy Efficiency Strategies - Implement necessary staff measures to minimise waste and ensure an Energy-Wise business - Project Management of Energy Initiatives for Run the Business (Retro-fit) existing stores and enablement for Change the Business (New) Stores - Financial planning and budget management of all Energy Initiatives and Projects - Management Reporting to Exco and Board on All Energy Targets - Implement Sustainability Programmes to ensure Net Zero and ESG Targets are achieved - Ensure compliance and implementation of ISO500001 certification - Responsible executive for Energy Management System - Market Insight and awareness of Energy and Water saving products and initiatives - Collect and collate all energy, utility and fuel data from suppliers to ensure compliance and reconciliation with agreements - Develop and implement a Benchmarking Process - Actively participate in Energy Think-tanks, Panels, Bodies and Organisations - Provide the necessary Training and awareness campaigns for Energy Saving, Energy Management, and improved use of Energy Utilities (Water & Gas) - Perform regular Audits and Inspections to ensure alignment and compliance Continuous Improvement (CI) - Drive performance measures and reporting to ensure improvement - Collaborate across the group and departments to ensure CI alignment - Perform Post -Mortem reviews to ensure learnings are leveraged - Align with Industry best practice and ensure annual reviews are completed - Improve policies, documents, and training materials Desired experience - 5-8 years of QSR experience - Experience with systems and controls around assets and lifecycle management - Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project Manager, Sharepoint etc) - Hospitality experience - Facilities Management Qualification - Diploma or Degree - Provident fund - Medical Aid and Medical Insurance Apply Now
