Financial Manager - Hessequa

Minimum requirements:
  • B Com Hons degree in Accounting or Financial Management with additional completed Financial Management courses
  • Completed Articles with reputable firm
  • 5+ years experience in financial management role
  • Exco member
Key performance areas:

Strategy / Strategic Planning

· Proactive management of financial and procurement function, identifying problems in advance.
· Making strategic financial decisions for cost reductions and/or higher productivity
· Providing financial advice to support the companys financial objectives
· Involvement in creating business plans and improving internal processes

Financial Management

· Financial planning and analysis
· Budget preparations and compilations in consultation with the MD
· Forecasting
· Analysis of financial data
· Risk management
· Reducing shareholder debt

Reporting

· Preparing and reviewing of financial statements to ensure compliance with financial regulations
· Preparing and compiling of monthly / quarterly documentation for financial reporting at board meetings
· Preparing of submissions and feasibility studies on long term capital projects

Cashflow Management

· Manage cash flow projections and reports
· Ensuring enough cash is available before processing of payments
· Ensuring expenses correlate with the budget
