Financial Manager - Pretoria

Job & Company Description:

The company manages every phase of transportation projects, beginning with assessing their feasibility, moving on to implementation, and concluding with operational management. These comprehensive services are tailored to diverse transportation systems.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

  • Supervise the accounting procedures across the group, ensuring adherence to IFRS standards
  • Take charge of the budgeting process and provide guidance to managers and executives
  • Produce monthly management statements and other financial reports within specified deadlines
  • Prepare and submit income tax returns for the company promptly
  • Adhere to year-end reporting schedules and cooperate effectively with external auditors
  • Provide well-founded financial guidance to management and address reasonable requests
  • Cultivate a conducive work environment that ensures the department achieves its objectives
  • Preferably familiar with compliance standards for public sector entities such as GRAP, PFMA, and MFMA
  • Possess an advanced proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Experience with Proman software is advantageous

Qualifications
  • Qualified CA(SA)
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience required
  • Experience auditing government entities preferred
