Cem Brick Manufacturers is the largest Cement Brick Manufacturer in Bloemfontein and is seeking to employ a Chartered Accountant to join their finance team. The candidate must be energetic, have explicit attention to detail, a willingness to learn and be hardworking. POSITION SUMMARY The candidate will be responsible to coordinate the daily activities of the finance division to quickly and accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities of the Company and other entities Analysing trial balance accounts identifying errors and raising journals. Balance sheet and nominal accounts reconciliations. Maintain an organised set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions. Resolves complex accounting issues. Prepare annual financial statements, audit files and ad hoc financial reports. Supervise, direct, and review the work of the accounting staff. M onthly Payroll review, oversight and submission of SARS returns . M onthly VAT review, oversight and submission of SARS returns. COIDA (Workmen's Compensation Return of Earnings submissions). Calculations and Completion of Provisional and Income Tax Returns, E-filing Administration, submitting supporting documents. Prepare, analysing, interpreting & presenting of management statements. Compiling Budgets and Forecasts. Compiling and monitoring of cash flow. Other Admin or Financial duties as required. Qualified Chartered Accountant CA (SA) registered with SAICA– This is Not Negotiable. Minimum of 3 years post articles Private sector experience. Fluent in English. Advance Knowledge of Excel Formulas including Pivot Tables etc. Sound knowledge of Tax regulations. Sound knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SME's, Companies Act and all Accounting Regulations. High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure and meeting deadlines. Ability to work independently, with little supervision. Ability to effectively direct and supervise.
