Fitter & Turner - Cape Town City Centre
Well-established manufacturing company seeks to employ a qualified and trade tested Fitter and Turner at their plant in Goodwood.
For the position you would be required to have:
- Minimum of Grade 12
- Minimum of N3 in Mechanical Engineering
- Trade tested Fitter & Turner ESSENTIAL
- Minimum of 5 years’ post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing environment
- Shift position (allowances payable)
Responsibilities would include you to:
- Repair and maintain equipment
- Preventative maintenance schedules
- Work closely with production to ensure equipment availability
- Work closely with outside contractors when required
- Work safely and keep work area neat
- Manage projects when required
