Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Foreman to join our team at Wadeville Action Group. As a Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various projects within our organization. This position requires strong managerial and planning skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:Coordinate and oversee daily operations on assigned projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to schedule.
Team Supervision: Direct and supervise a team of workers, ensuring they adhere to safety regulations and perform tasks to the required standards.
Planning and Organization: Develop and implement work schedules, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet project deadlines.
Quality Assurance: Monitor work progress and quality, conducting inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including work progress, materials used, and any incidents or accidents.
Communication: Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and management, to provide updates on project status and address any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
Strong managerial and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Comprehensive knowledge of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) regulations and practices.
Valid Code 10 driver's license with a clean driving record.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
