Front End Developer (Advanced) - Midrand
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain platform/application solutions in accordance with quality and delivery requirements.
- Review and present proposed system solutions to IT Project Manager/Leader and User Management or System Owner.
- Prepare system/technical documentation adhering to ISO standards.
- Gather requirements by meeting with end-users and facilitate daily stand-ups.
- Coach and provide training to colleagues and users as necessary.
- Conduct user training and compile user and operational manuals.
- Perform system audits and obtain user sign-off.
- Understand integration between different technologies and coordinate between development and support environments.
- Assist with business case development, planning, and monitoring.
- Elicit, organize, translate, and simplify requirements, and manage communication effectively.
- Analyze requirements and document them appropriately based on the methodology followed.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a relevant programming language.
- Proficiency in Angular, OpenShift/Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, JavaScript/Typescript, CSS, HTML, and AWS Cloud.
- Experience in web and digital project development.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, JIRA), and testing tools (e.g., Karma, Jasmine, Cypress).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with UX designers.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
