Requirements: Relevant Degree or Diploma A minimum of 5 years' proven, relevant experience At least 3 years' experience managing a small team Experience conducting media interviews / Public speaking Writing and speaking skills Project management and organisational skills Creative problem-solving / analytical skills Inter-personal communication and relationship-building skills Leadership and skills Team-oriented Driver's licence and own vehicle Willingness to travel The main purpose of this position: Develop and execute fundraising strategies, and manage a team responsible for fundraising, donor stewardship, events, campaigns, marketing, and PR Duties & Responsibilities: Fund Development: Develop a fund development strategy that is in line with the company strategy and ensure the proper execution of the strategy Prepare and update the fund development plan annually Fundraising / Proposals writing / Donor Prospecting – Local and International Donor relationship management, reporting, and stewardship Grow the individual giving programme Conceptualise, develop, and initiate new initiatives, campaigns, events etc. Manage and implement all projects, events, and campaigns for the year Maintenance of the donor data base Board management Donor base analysis Media interviews / relations and related Reporting Meet targets set Marketing and PR: Ensure that we have a monthly marketing / PR / Comms plan, planned in advance, as well as a tentative generic year planner that aligns with FFSA's overall strategy Ensure that our all our social media platforms grow steadily, according to set targets, that platforms are updated / posted daily, and that the engagement is suitable for our brand Ensure that FFSA's CI manual is updated and properly implemented – internally and externally Ensure that all our marketing and communication tools are regularly updated – website; social media platforms; YouTube channel, pamphlets etc. Compile the monthly newsletter, and ensure that is well written and circulated timeously Compile the Annual Report Marketing and PR - create national awareness and exposure of the work we do Prepare media releases; promotions; marketing material; briefs etc. Host visitors and potential donors to showcase the work we do Conduct research as and when needed General Duties: Resource mobilisation Manage our brand ambassadors Manage the Volunteer Programme Monthly reporting
